The Function Room

The function room at the Ross-on-Wye Conservative Club Our versatile function room can cater for up to 65 people for a sit down meal without intruding onto the dance floor. Alternatively if a buffet is required we can cater for more.

The dance floor may be screened off if not required to make a smaller area, ideal for any family occasion.

The room has direct access to the Balcony and Garden. Weather permitting, you may wish to take advantage of this extra space.

Tables can be arranged to suit your requirements either round tables or long tables. Please talk to a member of staff about your requirements.

Besides parties, our function room is the ideal venue for conferences, meetings, small exhibitions, playing bridge, quiz nights etc. Our licence allows us to hold late night functions if required.

The room has it's own entrance directly from the club's private, wall enclosed, off road car park.

We have two men’s teams who play at home on alternative Fridays and two ladies teams who play on Thursday nights. In the winter we host the Roy Evans memorial skittle challenge on Sunday nights.

The Garden and Balcony

The garden and balcony area at the Ross-on-Wye Conservative ClubTo the front of the club a large area of well maintained garden with lawn, borders and mature trees is a wellcome addition to the inside facilities.

Combination round wooden table-seats on the lawn may be used for a lunch time bar meal, whilst on a warm summer evening it's a safe place for Mum and Dad to enjoy a drink with the children.

The Balcony, with it's patio tables and chairs, plus a large brick built barbeque below add to the attraction of this popular feature of our club.

The Entertainment Area

The entertainment area at the Ross-on-Wye Conservative ClubThroughout the year our entertainments committee work hard to provide quality artists, discos and bands for the various club functions that take place.

Most hired entertainers prefer to set up their equipment toward the end of the Function Room dance floor, close to the entrance doors, where everyone can see, hear and enjoy their performance.
